Ist die mapscript-Variante auch gegen das oben dargestellte GDAL
gelinkt? Dann sollte das auch mit mapscript problemlos klappen.

Ggfs. fehlen der mapscript-Installation aber auch nur die benötigten
LD_LIBRARY_PATH-Eintragungen?
