GRASS Handbuch Cover

FreeGIS products

The following products have been distributed in the years 1999-2005. They are meanwhile out-of date.

  • CD
    FreeGIS CD 1.2.4 for GNU/Linux (i386): Product stopped in 2004.
  • Tutorial
    FreeGIS Tutorial 1.0 by Heiko Kehlenbrink (202 pages, b/w, german): This version dates April 2002. Old stock may be available from GDF Hannover Media (see below).
  • Manual
    GRASS-Handbuch 1.1 by Markus Neteler (266 pages, b/w, german): This version dates May 2003. Old stock may be available from GDF Hannover Media (see below). Also, GDF Hannover Media offers various updates and additional literature around GRASS.
There may be old stock of german FreeGIS Tutorial and GRASS Handbuch available from at GDF Hannover Media.
Apart from that, there you will find comprehensive additional and up-to-date literature about GRASS!
