FreeGIS Project: next steps

The portal site and all other services of the FreeGIS project are continously improved and adapted to current or extended needs.

These items are the next to work on (comments on their ranking and further topics are welcome!):

1. Extend search to the mailing list archive
2. Add opportunity to download FreeGIS database
   A sensible format must be choosen for this (xml?). The idea is to let others build applications for use of the FreeGIS data.
3. FreeGIS Team: explain who it is and what they do
   This should be part of the About FreeGIS page.
4. Improve and refine the information on geo-data
5. Extend search to freegis web site
